This STUNNING 1963 1/2 Galaxie 500 XL has gone through a frame off restoration. It is a numbers matching car. It is a highly optioned car with 46k Original miles. It has a 390 V8, 3 speed automatic trans, PS,PB,PW, Power seat, tinted glass, 2 speed wipers w/ electric washer, AM/FM radio and clock that all work. The private owner took the body off the frame and had the frame blasted and powder coated. The car has all new springs, shocks ,tie rods, ball joints, brake lines, gas line and new gas tank. Disc brakes have been added in front and the rear drum brakes have been rebuilt . The motor is rebuilt as well as the tranny and rear end. The owner had the stock radiator made into a 4 core and added a high volume water pump. The generator and starter where also rebuilt. He has added electronic ignition, a mild cam and Dove roller rockers to the motor. The car is repainted in the stock Chestnut color using base/clear coat. All the aluminum trim was stripped and polished and both bumpers and the grill where triple chrome plated. The interior has the original seat covers with door panels, carpeting and headliner replaced with new. It sets on 15" tires with Rev 100 wheels and new Bridgestone radials . The owner has the correct under dash AC unit that will go with the car. In short this was a complete nut and bolt restoration. Any questions please call 636-980-7588. 1965 chevelle 300 sedan l79 4spd 327/350 hp restoration: chassisdisassembled car 100% off frame. Media blast frame and all parts for powder coating. Powder coat frame, upper and lower control arms, cross member, radiator support, headlight bezels, bumper brackets, inner fenders etc. All engine brackets. All new bushings, shocks, springs complete new brake kits, backing plates thru lug nuts. New 12 bolt rear with sway bar, axels, gears etc. 3:55 ratio 1970 housing. Correct l79 exhaust system with factory correct hangers from gardner exhaust. Correct 3/8 fuel lines and all correct brake lines. New fuel tank, straps etc., steering and clutch linkage all refurbished. Motor:1964 327 block (3782870) . 040 over nom. Balanced all new components, comp cams l79 cam, 202 heads ported, polished and rebuilt. High volume oil pump. Correct intake manifold (3844461), carburetor, fuel lines, brackets, air cleaner etc. For l79. 370 hp dynode and documented, new dist., wires holders rare, clamps all correct. Correct exhaust manifolds for l79, heat tubes etc. Correct clutch linkage for l79, correct alternate face, radiator and fan blade for l 79. Correct bell housing and numbers matching m20 transmission rebuilt. Correct heater delete plate on firewall. Body:madero maroon, basecoat clear coat. Media blasted body and interior of car. Replaced filler panel between back glass and truck. Reworked quarter panel repairs, no major damage, door dings only. No other rust found anywhere pictures for proof. Reworked floor panel installation. Body is arrow straight. New bumpers aftermarket. New aftermarket grille, headlight trim, chevy script, door handles, license plate housing etc. All front and rear glass, stainless original and polished. All glass except back is new back is original but very nice. Wheels are 15” steel painted body color with nos dog dish caps very rare find. Interior:the owner chose to install the malibu fawn and tan interior, seat, doors, headliner. All seat track media blasted and powder coated. New dash pad and package tray. Carpet weather-stripping etc. All interior hardware, correct shifter and boot assembly. All pedals refurbished, new firewall insulation pad. Vents all refurbished. Correct steering wheel for 300’s only. New aftermarket dash and lenses with correct radio/heater delete plates. New nos dash wiring harness with fuse block. Nos rear view mirror, all lights, signals, etc. All metal in interior is painted correct color and correct mat/ semi-gloss finish. Trunk:trunk is finished in correct splatter paint. Tire jack is restored and mounted correctly. All new weather seals and decals. We used the assembly manual and many years of knowledge to restore this car as factory correct as possible. This interior features power steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes, power drivers seat, power front windows, ididit tilt steering column with budnik steering wheel, late model center console, b&m shifter, vintage air a/c and heat and a killer alpine sound system featuring polk speakers, 400 watt amp, xm radio and 6 disc cd changer. The dash speedometer, tachometer and gas gauge do not work but an optional tach is mounted in the dash. The trunk is also upholstered in the same two tone leather as the interior. Under the trunk lid is a custom air brushed image of the mythical firebird. This interior is over the top. Drive train:the drive train begins under the hood of this incredible firebird. The engine compartment is home to a fuel injected gen ii lt 1 5. 7 liter crate engine. This engine breathes through a set of jet coated headers and dual exhaust system. It runs nice and cool thanks to the aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. All of the accessories are driven by a serpentine belt system. The smoothed firewall and wheel wells are painted in the same quality pewter color as the exterior. Everything else under the hood is either chrome or polished making for a show winning combination.
