Exterior:this firebird has an arrow straight body featuring a rear spoiler, non functional ram air hood and stainless steel custom grill. The 2 stage paint on this firebird is eye popping. The two tone cobalt blue and pewter colors are fantastic and adding to this incredible paint job is a red pinstripe separating the two colors then turning into orange flames flowing over the rear quarters. The front and rear bumpers are painted to blend into the incredible lines of this firebird. Everything is wet sanded and buffed to a show finish. All of the stainless and chrome pieces are in excellent condition. The windows are professionally tinted. Boyd codington 18” wheels with nitto performance radial tires are mounted on the rear while 17” boyds are up front with nitto performance radial tires. This stunning, show winning, exterior is a real head turner. Interior:the interior is out of a late model firebird which was custom fabricated to fit this 68 firebird. The interior is upholstered in a custom two tone graphite and light grey leather. This interior features power steering, power 4 wheel disc brakes, power drivers seat, power front windows, ididit tilt steering column with budnik steering wheel, late model center console, b&m shifter, vintage air a/c and heat and a killer alpine sound system featuring polk speakers, 400 watt amp, xm radio and 6 disc cd changer. The dash speedometer, tachometer and gas gauge do not work but an optional tach is mounted in the dash. The trunk is also upholstered in the same two tone leather as the interior. Under the trunk lid is a custom air brushed image of the mythical firebird. This interior is over the top. Drive train:the drive train begins under the hood of this incredible firebird. The engine compartment is home to a fuel injected gen ii lt 1 5. 7 liter crate engine. This engine breathes through a set of jet coated headers and dual exhaust system. It runs nice and cool thanks to the aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. All of the accessories are driven by a serpentine belt system. The smoothed firewall and wheel wells are painted in the same quality pewter color as the exterior. Everything else under the hood is either chrome or polished making for a show winning combination. The transmission is a 4 speed automatic unit and the rear differential is a gm 10 bolt unit. The suspension has been upgraded with g-max kit to give this firebird great handling.
